SAVEGREEKWATER, the citizens’ initiative for non- privatization of water in Greece , would like to invite you all, this Monday, February 24 at 19.30 at CAMP (Contemporary Art Meeting Point), ( 4 & Efpolidos Apellou 2 Pl.Kotzia , Athens ) at the presentation event of the water campaign that targets to inform the public
about the protection of the collective good of water against the threat of privatization.
The event is being held to mark the completion of the production of a first series of radio and television commercials of the campaign ” SOMETHING ‘S UP WITH THE WATER ” which basically coincides with the presentation of nearly 2 million signatures of the first historically successful European Citizens’ Initiative right2water, where the citizens ask the EC to legislate the right to access to water and sanitation adopted at the UN in 2010 and to protect the resource from liberalization. The event will be attended by members of the initiative , people from the fields of film, theater and television as well as citizens of different political, ideological and professional backgrounds that with their voluntary participation collaborated to completing this new effort with a common goal:to raise awareness on all the risks of privatization so we can act on time in order not to experience it in our country .
